the photographer behind Mish Photography. I believe in the power of pausing time - in freezing the moments that matters most. Photography is more than just a job for me. It's connection, it's storytelling, and it's preserving the memories you never want to forget. It's also about imagination, vision, creating, and its about adventure! I love getting to know the people in front of my camera, learning their stories, and capturing them in their truest light.
I photograph High School Seniors, Dancers, and Families - each one special in their own way. I adore freezing a dancer mid air, catching that perfect moment of grace and strength. I love documenting families as they laugh, play, and simply enjoy being together. And I feel honored to capture high school seniors during one of their most unforgettable seasons in their lives.

I will make your photo session as easy as possible. Clothing can be a stressful part of a photo session. I will go over clothing ideas, and clothing samples with you to best fit your location. I have many locations that I love, but I am always up for a a new adventure / location. I will make your experience enjoyable. We will laugh, and have a great time!

Do you shoot on location, or in studio?
A. I photograph on location. I have many location options. I go over your clothing, and the season and find what location will fit what you are after and for the season we are in.
If you're wanting an indoor photoshoot, some places rent out their studios.
Will there be a second shooter?
A. I use a second shooter for some dance photography.
What do I wear for my photo session?
A. Clothing is a huge part of a photo session. It can be stressful. I will help you a long the way. We go over colors, and clothing ideas. I will send you some clothing samples if you would like. I will make sure you feel confident and excited about your clothing selections.
What kind of gear do you use?
A. I use a Cannon R6. I have a 50mm lens, a 24-70mm lens, and a 70-200mm lens. I have a backup camera for the "just incase."
Do I have to order prints through you?
A. No, you can download your digital files and print your photos at your favorite printing location.
You can also order on my website. I love MPIX. They do a wonderful job and stay true to the colors of the photo. MPIX has many size options, and canvas prints. However, if you do use a different printer, you must take off the "AUTO COLOR CORRECTION" near the end of your checkout.
When will we get our photos?
A. You will receive an online gallery link with all of your photos, touched up and edited within 2 weeks (sometimes less depending on the season I photograph your session). You can download all the photos from the gallery but also share them, choose your favorites, and also order prints straight from my website!
How do I pick a location?
A. I will go over all of the small details from clothing, and location, to time of day. I will make sure we have the perfect location for your session. I have many locations, I am always up for a new adventure/location as well.
